Jeremiah 13:22-25

22 “If you ^asay in your heart,
‘ ^bWhy have these things happened to me?’
Because of the ^cmagnitude of your wrongdoing
^dYour skirts have been removed
And your ^{▼▼I.e., a euphemism for private parts}heels have suffered violence.
23 “ ^fCan the Ethiopian change his skin,
Or the leopard his spots?
Then you as well can ^gdo good
Who are accustomed to doing evil.
24 “Therefore I will ^hscatter them like drifting straw
To the desert ⁱwind.
25 “This is your ^jlot, the portion measured to you
From Me,” declares the Lord,
“Because you have ^kforgotten Me
And trusted in falsehood.
